Steve Shields is a Vice President with CBRE's Investment Properties Group in the Charlotte, NC office. Steve focuses his attention exclusively on the sale of shopping center investments in the southeast. By concentrating exclusively on the sale of investment properties, he is able to focus on the complex details of major sales transactions, utilizing his expertise in understanding the capital markets, knowing and accessing investors, and underwriting and developing marketing strategies for the disposition of investment properties. Since joining the team in 2007, he has assisted in the disposition of 103 retail investment property sales, including neighborhood, community and power centers valued over $1.12 billion.

Prior to his employment with CBRE, Steve had a variety of operational and financial roles in Denver, Colorado and Charlotte, North Carolina.
