Profile
Steven Hooker is a Director Broker with Cushman & Wakefield. He has been servicing local commercial real estate clients, specifically commercial sales, leasing, management, consulting, and development services since 1986. Steve has been entrenched in the commercial real estate and development of Park City over the past twenty seven years, with a reputation of closing deals through straight forward, common sense, and "win-win" negotiations, while keeping focus on the bottom line.
Steve Hooker joined Cushman & Wakefield September of 2012. Steve's experience stems from his dedication to both corporate and private business enterprises starting as Real Estate Director GM for Silver Mill of Park City where they developed, leased and managed over 200,000 square feet in Park City's Historic Main Street business district, Deer Valley and Summit County areas. Steve was also a Director for sixteen years in the real estate development department of Mrs. Fields and Famous Brands International Corporations. He and his team were responsible for the successful implementation and development of over twelve hundred mall and Strip Center QSR locations in the US, as well as over two hundred locations in twenty countries internationally. He maintains constant dealings with national landlords such as General Growth, Taubman, Macerich, Simon and Westfield.
As a Utah native, Steve has lived in Park City since 1986 with his wife Lois of thirty years, raising their three children as well as owning/managing their retail stores. Steve and his family are avid skiers continuing the family tradition of skiing the Utah Mountains.
Steve has been involved with many areas of the Park City community leadership and business culture. Volunteering on boards such as The Summit County Economic Development Committee, Governor's Task Force on the Interconnect, Highway 224 Project, Park City Transportation Committee, Historic Main Street Beautification Task Force, Park City Sign Ordinance Committee, Leadership 2000 Group, Historic Main Street Parking Task Force, and Historic Main Street Association. He has been a past President to the Historic Main Street Business Alliance; Board Member to the Chamber Bureau Winter and Summer Marketing Committee; Board Director to The Egyptian Theater "Save Our Stage" Foundation; Board Member to the Park City Chamber Bureau, and even made a try for Park City, City Council – all fun and all worth the effort.
