Bio
Steve Hissong is responsible for managing Vulcan’s office, retail and apartment assets including marketing and leasing, operations and dispositions. Steve led Vulcan’s disposition efforts for the $1.15 billion Amazon Headquarters, which was the largest real estate transaction in the U.S. in 2012. Previous experience: Steve has 21 years of experience in the investment, management, design and engineering of commercial real estate. Prior to joining Vulcan in 2009, Steve worked at Metzler North America where he served multiple roles in acquisitions and asset management of office, retail, industrial and apartment properties. Steve started his career working as a civil and structural engineer for Rust Environment & Infrastructure (now EarthTech) and Haynes Whaley Associates Structural Engineers. He also earned his Professional Engineer license. Education: BS in Civil Engineering from Cornell University, MBA from the University of Washington
