Steve Heldenfels

Steve is a managing director in the Dallas office of JLL Capital Markets, Americas. He joined JLL as part of the HFF acquisition and has more than 20 years of experience in commercial real estate finance. He is primarily responsible for originating debt and equity placement transactions throughout the southern United States. Steve is well-versed in all product types, including multi-housing, office, retail and industrial. Throughout his career, he has completed $4.3 billion in commercial real estate transactions.

Steve started at HFF in March 1996. Before that, he was a staff appraiser reporting on all types of commercial and residential properties.
