Steve Guinn is a Commercial Real Estate Developer, Manager, and Broker with 40 years of experience in real estate development, property management, brokerage, investment sales, and leasing. He is widely acknowledged as an office expert in the Memphis, Tennessee area.Prior to joining Colliers International | Asset Services Memphis, Steve was Vice President and Division Manager for Highwoods Properties and oversaw the Memphis operation for 16 years. While at Highwoods, he was responsible for a 2.1 million square foot portfolio of office properties with responsibilities that included leasing, management, and development. Steve led the development of 555,000 SF of office, including Memphis’ first LEED office building-Triad III, and IP Tower 4. He also led the acquisition of 473,000 SF of office buildings, which included Crescent Center and the subsequent construction of Capital Grille and Seasons 52 on created out parcels. He has an interest in, and expertise in in-fill development. Steve was instrumental in helping create the Poplar Corridor TIF district, presenting the plan in numerous public meetings.Prior to joining Highwoods, Mr. Guinn was Senior Vice President of Leasing and Brokerage at Trammell Crow Company, leading a team of experienced brokers and leasing agents in landlord representation of a large portfolio of industrial and office assets. As an investment sales broker with Trammell Crow, he successfully sold White Station Tower, 6000 & 6060 Poplar, Lynnfield Office Park, Falls Building, IP Tower 3, and many others in the late ’90s and early 2000s. He also brokered the assemblage of the various parcels for the Malco Paradiso.
