Steve Filosa

Steve Filosa is a Managing Director of Morning Calm Management where he currently oversees all accounting and finance functions. He previously was the Executive Vice President of Accounting for a privately held real estate investment and management company for eight years, where he handled all aspects of financial accounting, reporting and tax preparation. Prior to that position, Mr. Filosa was a Director of Development Accounting at The Cordish Companies, where he worked on the $700 million Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino development in Tampa and Hollywood. He was also a Project Controller at the Related Companies, a leading real estate investment and development firm, where he was involved in the development of City Place in downtown West Palm Beach, a $300 million mixed-used project. Mr. Filosa graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University with a Bachelor’s degree in accounting and is a Certified Public Accountant.
