Bio
Steve Erdman began his career in real estate in 1977 by joining the firm of Goldrich and Kest, a company specializing in the development and construction of thousands of housing units and retirement facilities throughout California.
In 1983, Steve became a Vice President in charge of Goldrich and Kest’s entire Construction Operations division including all phases of the development process. Steve managed multiple projects, including large developments of multi family subsidized apartment projects, high-end and high-rise apartments, condominiums and single-family homes, housing tracts, board and care facilities, convalescent hospitals, hotels, commercial, and large industrial projects.
He has a wealth of experience in dealing with many government and public agencies such as HUD, CRA, CHFA, OSHPUD, Los Angeles Housing Department, universities, non-profit organizations, and has extensive practice doing business with numerous city and county officials throughout the state.
In 1990, Steve began to develop projects on his own as the Owner and President of Canfield Development, Inc. He develops apartments, condominiums and custom homes in the Los Angeles area.
