Steve Comly joined Newmark in January 2020 as an executive managing director in the firm's Philadelphia office, where he is responsible for debt origination and structured finance for multifamily and commercial assets. Steve works with both local and national clients and has experience with various capital structures, including permanent, bridge, construction and equity.

Steve and his Philadelphia-based capital markets colleagues pride themselves on their long-term relationships, offering clients expertise across a diverse capital base that includes life companies, Freddie Mac, Fannie Mae, regional and national banks, CMBS and fund investors. The group attributes its success to its dedicated work ethic, transparency and customer service, driven by the mindset that trust is earned and re-earned every day.

Prior to Newmark, Steve worked for 13 years at Berkadia, where he financed projects in excess of $3 billion, including transactions with more than 30 different lending sources. Steve previously worked at Nomura Securities where he was involved in the origination and underwriting of CMBS transactions, as well as Credit Suisse First Boston where he was an analyst on the real estate private equity team.

Steve resides in Newtown Square, PA with his wife Bridget and their three children.

Steve graduated from Fairfield University in 2003 with a Bachelor of Science degree in finance.
