Bio
Stephen Smigel serves as Executive Managing Director. He has more than 25 years of experience in the investment banking, capital markets and sales and trading industries, having worked at at Alex. Brown, Credit Suisse, RBS and MUFG with leadership roles in both New York and London. Stephen joined Newmark in 2019, and is the head of Nuloan, Newmark's data-powered, online digital lending platform. Stephen is also head of and has supervisory responsibility for broker-dealer related activity within Newmark.
Education
Stephen received his undergraduate degree from the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania with a Bachelor of Science in economics and a dual concentration in finance and entrepreneurial management. He also received an MBA in finance from Columbia Business School.
