Stephen Pheigaru

Stephen has 10 years of experience in the commercial real estate industry. He began his career with a Houston-based private commercial real estate investment company handling project leasing and management of a 2 million square foot retail portfolio. Stephen’s has handled acquisition evaluations and their subsequent transactions of over $100 million worth of retail properties. Stephen orchestrated debt/equity financing for new acquisitions and existing portfolio assets. In addition, Stephen facilitated the asset management of the retail portfolio including tenant relations, facilities management, preventive maintenance and accounting. In mid-2010, Stephen formed a boutique full-service brokerage firm. Stephen, as partner/principle, was in charge of the 3rd party project leasing/management for their clients as well as overseeing the day-to-day operations of the company. In addition, Stephen oversaw the 3rd party management of the retail properties from day-to-day management of property, bookkeeping, investor relations, property tax/insurance policies, budget preparation, partnership matters, refinancing, and vendor relationships. In 2012, Stephen sold his interests in the brokerage firm and created a Commercial firm to focus on more institutional asset management, commercial retail development, and investment acquisitions & dispositions. Stephen aligned with Hunington Properties, Inc. as Director of Retail Development in 2014.
