Stephen specializes in the acquisition and disposition of investment properties in Lower Manhattan, south of Houston Street. Stephen has been in the commercial real estate industry for four decades. Stephen’s enduring dedication, honed expertise, and deep-rooted familial ties to real estate underscore his position as a venerated figure in Lower Manhattan’s real estate domain, shaping its landscape through a blend of heritage, innovation, and unwavering commitment to excellence.

Prior to Matthews™, Stephen was a Managing Director at B6 Real Estate Advisors. Stephen began his career in 1985 as an office leasing specialist in midtown Manhattan. In 1991 he co-founded DG Hart Associates. During his 20 years at DG Hart, the company grew to become a multi-disciplined brokerage and property management firm with expertise in office and retail leasing, investment sales, bankruptcy valuation services, and commercial property management. In 2003, the company became a member of NAI and began a successful international corporate service practice. NAI acquired the firm in 2006. Stephen remained as Vice Chairman until 2009.
