Stephen Bair

Steve Bair is the Senior Vice President of Construction for Simpson Housing and runs its construction management group. Steve and his team are responsible for day-to-day construction oversight on all development projects for Simpson and its partners. Steve and his group also provide in-depth physical due diligence services on all of Simpson’s property acquisitions. Steve joined Simpson in 1996 from the Trammell Crow Company and originally served as the general manager of Simpson’s construction company. He has over 46 years of work experience in residential and commercial construction encompassing over 32,800 residential units in 144 communities, 4.1 million square feet of commercial space in 47 projects and 33 military base projects in 24 states coast to coast from Washington to Florida and New York to California. He has been a licensed general contractor in 19 states during his career. Steve obtained a BA degree from North Carolina State University, and received his MBA from the University of North Carolina, Greensboro after serving in the US Navy.
