Bio
Ms. Nyenbrink joined the firm in 2011 and is a member of the firm's Executive Committee. As Chief People Officer, Ms. Nyenbrink is responsible for developing and executing the human resource strategy in support of the overall business plan and strategic direction of the firm, specifically in the areas of succession planning, talent management, change management, organizational and performance management, training and development, and compensation. She provides strategic leadership by articulating HR needs and plans to the executive committee. Ms. Nyenbrink is also a co-chair of the firm's Diversity & Inclusion Committee. In addition, Ms. Nyenbrink also oversees Harrison Street University, a training platform for employees to further develop skills in a variety of professional areas. Harrison Street University focuses on optimizing operations and performance of Harrison Street across all business units. Within this role, she assesses and implements talent management initiatives that effectively integrate talent development and talent management strategies to develop long-term business success. Prior to joining Harrison Street, Ms. Nyenbrink was a Human Resource Generalist at BP Capital Management, a venture capital investment firm. Ms. Nyenbrink has a BA in Psychology with a minor in Marketing from DePaul University and an MA in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from Roosevelt University.
