Simon Muir

Simon Muir is the California vice president for NBP Capital. Muir is primarily responsible for overseeing the company’s investment and development activities in Los Angeles, including: deal sourcing, market research, underwriting, securing new debt, debt restructuring and transaction execution. Muir is an accomplished and highly‐skilled real estate professional with more than 20 years of broad-based experience at an international blue-chip real estate development, investment and construction company. He has extensive knowledge of and insight into the Los Angeles real estate market, as a result of intensive research, diligence, and positioning for the launch of an urban regeneration business unit in Los Angeles. Muir’s diverse experience is built on a foundation spanning acquisition, development, project, business and financial management, and project closeout within real estate development, construction and renewable energy infrastructure segments. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in quantity surveying, which specializes in construction and development economics and management, from Kingston University.
