Shawn Trobec

Shawn Trobec serves as the Senior Vice President of Asset Management for Simpson Property Group. Shawn joined Simpson in 2006 in the accounting department before transitioning to analyst and reporting roles within operations and ultimately taking a leadership role within Simpson as SVP of Asset Management. Shawn leads a team that acts as a liaison between operations, revenue management, accounting/finance, acquisitions, the executive committee, as well as Simpson’s investors and partners. Shawn’s team is responsible for assisting in formulating business plans, analyzing market conditions, and subsequently reporting and benchmarking property and portfolio performance against peer groups and multifamily market indexes. In addition, Shawn manages Simpson’s utility management program, directs all real estate tax appeals, negotiates property level internet and cable marketing agreements, and oversees national purchasing. Shawn is continuing to expand the asset management function within Simpson by taking on acquisition underwriting and developing the company’s sustainability program. Shawn graduated Cum Laude with a BS in Finance from Metropolitan State University of Denver and is a veteran of the United States Marine Corps.
