Sharon Barham

Sharon is a native of Wake County, and she joined Insight Property Group in 2016. She began selling real estate after her time at NC State, and since 1984 Sharon has handled most every type of real estate transaction possible. Her career began with residential sales which evolved into land acquisition and development. Eventually Sharon crossed over to commercial real estate, having represented a diverse clientele from smaller business owners to investors, to municipalities, regardless if their needs were leasing, buying, or selling. Her years of experience and knowledge have benefitted numerous real estate owners and investors, especially if the owner has interest in an IRS 1031 real estate property exchange. Sharon is married and has two spoiled fur babies. Her son and wife live in New Bern, and her daughter lives in Philadelphia. Over the years, Sharon has served on numerous boards and committees benefitting communities and social needs. She’s very passionate in her support and volunteering at the Shephard’s Table Soup Kitchen and Special Olympics. She is an avid golfer and adventure seeker at heart. In her downtime, she spends time between the North Carolina Coast and their cabin in Boone. Sharon is a member of the Triangle Commercial Association of Realtors.
