Scott Thiell

Scott Thiell is Senior Vice President at Next Realty Mid-Atlantic and specializes in Retail/Commercial Leasing and Tenant Representation in the greater Washington, DC market. ​ Scott has been active in retail brokerage in the Washington/Baltimore marketplace for over 25 years. In the past, Scott was a founding member of Madison Retail Group, where he served as a Managing Partner. He then co-founded First Retail Partners and served as Principal before becoming Managing Director for the Retail Services division at Colliers International. Much of Scott’s business can be attributed to Tenant Representation. He has represented a diverse mix of clients, specializing in Washington, DC, Maryland and Northern Virginia roll-outs. Scott has a long transaction history with members of his loyal client base including Panera Bread (75), Hollywood Video (60), Kinko's Copies (45), World Market (10), Pier One Imports (35), Advance Auto (5), Ruby Tuesday Restaurants (45), and TGI Fridays (15). Other key tenants include: BJ's Restaurants, iPic Theaters, Genghis Grill, Garbanzo, La Tagliatella, Royal Farms and Pret a Manger.
