Scott Swisher

Scott Swisher joined ACORE Capital in 2015 as a Director on the Credit and Underwriting Team in San Francisco, CA where he oversees the diligence and closing of floating rate construction and bridge loans. Mr. Swisher also originates and structures construction and bridge loans covering all product types primarily across the west coast markets. Before joining ACORE, Mr. Swisher was a Vice President on the Credit and Underwriting Team at Starwood Property Trust (STWD) for over four years where he managed the San Francisco based team. During his tenure at STWD, Mr. Swisher underwrote and closed approximately 50 deals totaling $4 billion and originated approximately $500 million of floating rate loans. Prior to STWD, Mr. Swisher was an Associate Vice President at George Smith Partners in Los Angeles, CA where he brokered more than $500 million of debt and equity financing for the acquisition, refinancing, and development of commercial real estate assets nationwide. Mr. Swisher holds an MBA from the UCLA Anderson School of Business and a Bachelors of Business Administration from James Madison University. He is also a licensed California Real Estate broker.
