Scott Ramey is a senior managing director for Newmark where he is based in the Orlando office. Scott has a primary focus on the Central Florida markets including Orlando, Tampa, Melbourne and Daytona Beach. He is responsible for multifamily brokerage and advisory services and specializes in investment sales, land sales and equity and debt placement. Since joining Newmark in 2013, Scott has been involved in the sale of over $7.8 billion multifamily assets throughout Florida.

Before joining Newmark, Mr. Ramey managed the leasing of a four million square foot industrial portfolio for EastGroup Properties, a New York Stock Exchange listed industrial REIT. During his tenure there, he personally negotiated over 250 lease transactions valued in excess of $23 million in rental income. Prior to EastGroup, he worked as a commercial underwriter for SunTrust Bank in Jacksonville.

Education

Mr. Ramey earned a Master of Science degree in real estate from the University of Florida and a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in finance. He is a member of the University of Florida Bergstrom Council and an active participant in the University of Florida Friends and Alumni of Real Estate.
