Bio

Scott A. Kilpatrick is a managing director with Newmark, where he specializes in the sale of apartment properties, raw and entitled land, and mobile home parks in Santa Clara and San Mateo counties, 1031 exchanges, and NNN acquisitions across the country. Over the last 17 years, Mr. Kilpatrick has closed over 375 sales transactions in excess of $675 million.

 

Prior to joining Newmark, Mr. Kilpatrick was a senior vice president and director of the National Multi-Housing Group at Cushman & Wakefield. During his tenure there, he ranked among the highest producers nationwide on a number of occasions and was honored with various national sales achievement awards. Mr. Kilpatrick's extensive knowledge of the marketplace, his attention to detail and his negotiation skills provide great benefits to his clients resulting in mutually beneficial long-term relationships. These outstanding characteristics make Mr. Kilpatrick a market leader in the commercial real estate industry. Mr. Kilpatrick also worked with Marcus & Millichap in its multihousing group and before that worked in property management with The Grupe Company where his group managed over 3,000 apartment units in the San Joaquin Valley. He also has experience in entitlement and development of real estate throughout the state of Oregon.

 

Mr. Kilpatrick graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration with an emphasis in real estate finance and a minor in economics from the University of the Pacific. He personally owns and manages several mobile home parks in Oregon as well as apartments in Santa Clara. Mr. Kilpatrick is a San Carlos resident and is married with three children. His hobbies include golf, traveling and scuba diving.
