Bio
Scott Coté is Aegon Asset Management’s global CIO for the Real Assets Investment platform. He is responsible for the platform’s strategic and operational management, debt and equity strategies and the US and European based teams. Prior to his current role, Scott was co-head of Aegon Asset Management’s US Real Assets platform. Scott has been in the industry since 1986 and started his career at a New York City-based commercial debt and equity real estate brokerage firm and subsequently managed the real estate platform of a small US based life insurance company. Scott joined the firm in 1997 as a lending officer in the platform’s commercial mortgage loan platform. He received his BA and his MBA from Baylor University.
