Sarah Burton is Director of Leasing at L3 Capital and joined the team in November 2019. Sarah is responsible for the oversight of all leasing-related activity across the portfolio. Prior to joining L3 Capital, Sarah began her career as a member of the development team for Starwood Retail Partners, a retail operating platform formed by private investment firm Starwood Capital Group. In her second year with Starwood, Sarah was promoted to help lease Starwood’s largest construction project to date – the $125 million redevelopment of The Shops at Willow Bend. Additionally, Sarah bolstered leasing efforts for Starwood’s Metro Detroit assets, The Mall at Partridge Creek, Franklin Park Mall, and Fairlane Town Center. Sarah graduated from Northwestern University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Learning & Organizational Change and Asian Languages & Cultures (Mandarin Chinese). While at Northwestern, Sarah served three years as a chapter executive officer for Kappa Alpha Theta sorority. Sarah is an active member of the International Council of Shopping Centers and the Women’s Athletic Club of Chicago.
