Sam Elkhatib

Sam Elkhatib is an Associate at CBRE Capital Advisors, Inc., the real estate investment banking unit of CBRE. He possesses a range of experience in real estate finance, corporate finance and corporate banking.

Prior to joining, Mr. Elkhatib was an Investment Director at Atlas Residential in Chicago, IL, where he was involved in the development, acquisition, recapitalization and asset management of various multi-family and mixed-use opportunities.

Mr. Elkhatib began his career in Cairo, Egypt, working in Ahli United Bank’s corporate banking division in the capacity of a Credit Analyst. He assisted in providing long- and short-term debt financing to large enterprises and SMEs operating in the white goods, aviation, and textiles industries. After that, he joined Qalaa Holdings (previously known as Citadel Capital), a regional private equity firm operating in the Middle East and North Africa, where he participated in a number of energy and infrastructure related transactions on the buy- and sell-side.

He is working to attain the CFA Designation and has currently passed the first two levels of the CFA exam.
