Salman Khan

Mr. Khan is the Founder and Managing Principal of Stabilis Capital Management, LP. Since late 2010, Stabilis has raised five separate investment vehicles with total capital commitments in excess of $1.7 billion:

Stabilis Fund I, Fund II, Fund III, Fund IV, and Performing Loan Fund have been harvested or are in the harvesting stage, with attractive risk-adjusted returns to date. Stabilis Fund V is in the investment period.

The Performing Loan Fund has returned all capital to investors and exceeded its targeted investment returns.

Prior to forming Stabilis, Mr. Khan spent 12 years at Goldman Sachs and 6 years at Silver Point Capital, where he started and ran the US and Latin American loan acquisition businesses with investment strategies similar to Stabilis, investing over $5 billion of capital:

2001 - 2010:

$1 billion at Silver Point Capital and Goldman Sachs in the US small/middle market commercial loan space.

1992 - 2001:

$3 billion at Goldman Sachs in the consumer, residential and commercial loan space.

Mr. Khan graduated with a BS in Electrical Engineering from Columbia University and earned his MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
