Russell D. Jones, vice chairman at Newmark, has been involved in the multifamily investment sales business since 2001. Mr. Jones joined ARA in 2006 to start the Private Client Services Group (PCSG), specializing in value-add non-institutional assets. His responsibilities include originating and managing investment sales transactions and he is involved in all aspects of the process, including new business development, pricing strategies, marketing, as well as negotiation and closing transactions. Mr. Jones has been involved in more than 300 transactions, representing approximately $4 billion in multifamily real estate in Houston since 2001.

Mr. Jones graduated from Baylor University in 2001 with a BBA in entrepreneurship and MIS. Prior to joining ARA, he spent five years at another national brokerage firm where he was a senior associate. Mr. Jones has been married to his wife Taryn for 11 years and has two sons, Anderson and Harrison, and daughter, Emery.
