Roy Rafter

Roy Rafter is a Vice President of Construction for Jefferson Apartment Group. Mr. Rafter has 39 years of experience in the construction industry and has a passion for leading effective teams, nurturing the development of personnel, and constructing the highest quality projects. His experience spans both new construction and renovation for various specialty projects including residential, high end commercial build-outs, educational facilities, structural additions, façade removals and re-cladding, major retail facilities, and restaurant facilities. Prior to joining Jefferson Apartment Group, Mr. Rafter was the Acting Vice President for a prominent local General Contractor where his responsibilities included establishing the residential division of the company with management of 98 employees and the construction of over $750 million in high end residential condos and apartments. Mr. Rafter's education started as a tradesman and includes an Associate's degree in Construction Management from Montgomery Community College. Happily married for over 35 years, he and his wife Cheryl have 4 children and 11 grandchildren.
