Bio
Ron Steffenino is Vice Chairman, Servicing, Asset Management and special asset management (loss mitigation) with Newmark's Multifamily Capital Markets Servicing group. Based in the firm's office in Lower Gwynedd, Pennylvania, Ron manages a rapidly growing servicing portfolio of $65 billion, representing more than 3,700 loans in 49 states. He brings to his position 30 years of experience in the commercial real estate industry.
Prior to Newmark, Ron spent 19 years with Berkadia Commercial Mortgage, most recently as the Senior Vice President of Operations and Special Servicing/Default Management. Throughout his tenure, he was responsible for more than 250 employees in the U.S. and at the company's offshore operation in India. Previously, Ron held various management positions in both the residential and commercial servicing operations of Fidelity Bond & Mortgage Company.
Ron is a recognized industry leader, a member of the Freddie Mac Advisory Council and a frequent speaker at various industry conferences.
Education
Mr. Steffenino holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Operations Management and Marketing from LaSalle University.
