Inspired by the principles of “sustainability” and the opportunity to build a leading-edge business practice at CBRE, Ron Monat launched the Renewable Energy Group in early 2009. National, state and local programs were being formulated to stimulate this exciting new growth area and CBRE had much to contribute. The City of Phoenix, in particular, expressed ambitious aspirations to become the “Silicon Valley of Solar” and began to aggressively recruit energy technology and manufacturing companies from around the world.
Mr. Monat brings a wealth of experience to his current assignment. Over 30 years in business development with Fortune 500 companies has provided him expertise in numerous industries including energy, commercial real estate, consumer products and technology.
