Ron Granite is a Director at Cushman & Wakefield's South Florida Capital Markets Team and part of Cushman & Wakefield's international Equity, Debt and Structured Finance (EDSF) platform. Mr. Granite brings 14+ years of experience in the commercial real estate industry inclusive of experience working in capital markets, portfolio management, asset management, leasing and finance. Throughout his career, he has been involved in over $1.6B in commercial real estate transactions including IPO, commercial mortgages and commercial and multi-family acquisitions. Mr. Granite's role with the team. include business development and assisting clients with procurement of permanent, bridge and construction financing as well as joint venture equity investments for all asset classes.

Prior to joining Cushman & Wakefield, Mr. Granite worked at Eyzenberg & Company in a similar role and closed three commercial financing transactions during 2020. Prior, Mr. Granite worked at IRC Retail Centers as a portfolio manager and oversaw an approximate $1B valued retail portfolio, joint ventured with a sovereign pension fund. During his tenure, he was a key lead member in the restructuring and refinancing of approximate $180M in debt. Additionally, his role included overseeing the corresponding individual mortgaged debt and he worked with numerous banks on overall debt compliance. Prior to IRC Retail Centers, Mr. Granite worked as a Director at Brixmor Property Group in their portfolio management and finance group. He worked on various asset and portfolio level, capital expenditure and debt covenant financial projections as the company was acquired by The Blackstone Group and eventually taken public via IPO in October of 2013. Mr. Granite worked in the various aforementioned capacities also at institutions which included CBRE, Meridian Capital Group and Houlihan Parnes LLC.
