Rodney King

As Managing Director of Acquisitions, Rodney is responsible for Core’s growth through the successful land acquisition and development of new assets while looking for strategic value-add opportunities. His role includes site selection, leading due diligence efforts, analyzing investment metrics and securing entitlements. Prior to joining Core Spaces, Rodney spent more than 8 years at EdR/Greystar as one of its lead developers; overseeing some of its largest development projects. In his previous role, Rodney was involved in approximately $1.2 billion of acquisitions and new construction ranging from large mixed-use to garden style projects. Rodney was also responsible for arranging and financing for each project that included equity and tax-exempt structures. Rodney has an MBA from Belhaven University and a Bachelor of Science in organizational management and finance.
