Rod Llanos specializes in the investment sales of seniors housing and healthcare properties with a focus primarily in the Southern States. Rod joined Marcus & Millichap in 2004 as a financial analyst, where he performed detailed underwriting analysis on all types of senior housing properties. During this time, his roles also included new business development, confidential marketing, and escrow management. This experience enabled him to get an in-depth understanding of how senior housing businesses operate and are valued, from both a buyer and seller perspective. In 2009, he transitioned into investment sales in Marcus & Millichap's Houston office. During his career, Rod has been involved in 70 senior housing and healthcare transactions, resulting in more than $360 million in sales volume. In 2011, 2012, 2013, 2015 and 2018, he was ranked as a Top 10 Houston Agent and Top 15 National Seniors Housing Agent. In November 2012, he was promoted to Senior Associate. In 2013, 2015 and 2018, he received Sales Recognition Awards. In 2015, he was a panelist at the Interface Seniors Housing Texas Conference. In 2017, he was promoted to Vice President Investments. In 2018, he was promoted to First Vice President Investments.Rod graduated from The University of Texas at Austin with a BA in economics and a double minor in business foundation and Spanish.
