Bio

Robert J. Thiergartner serves as Chief Investment Officer of Bircher Anderson & Davis, where he is responsible for leading the and development platform and serves on the Investment Committee

Prior to becoming a part of Birtcher Anderson, Mr. Thiergartner has developed long-term relationships with institutional and private clients and investors from across the real estate spectrum. With more than 40 years of industry experience, Bob has been instrumental in developing and investing in assets valued at more than $1 billion. He focuses his energies on client relations, new business development and strategic oversight of the company’s development and investment activities.

Mr. Thiergartner received a Bachelor of Science in business administration with emphasis in accounting from California Polytechnic University, Pomona. He is a Certified Public Accountant in California and holds a Certificate in Commercial Real Estate from University of California, Irvine.

In addition to his work at Davis Partners, Bob has taken on leadership roles that draw deeply from his loves of business, philanthropy, and education. He is a past Chairman of the Orange County Boy Scouts of America; served on the board of Christ Catholic Cathedral Corporation and was a member of the Architecture and Renovation Committee; a former President of Legatus International Orange Coast Chapter; and served as a Chairman of the ULI Small Scale Development Council Blue Flight and a Council Counselor for the Urban Land Institute (ULI). Bob is a former member of the Consultative School Board of Santa Margarita Catholic High School. Bob is also a Court Appointed Special Advocate in Orange County.
