Robert Noeldechen

Robert Noeldechen joined the New Haven CT office of Marcus & Millichap Capital Corporation (MMCC) in June 2016. As an Associate Director with MMCC, Mr. Noeldechen is responsible for securing commercial debt financing for an array of property types including grocery anchored retail, super regional malls, life style & neighborhood center retail, industrial, multi-family & ground up construction, office, residential, hotels, single tenant & NNN leased properties, student housing, self-storage, & mixed use properties. Properties can be Core- Value Added - Opportunistic - Transitional. He maintains relationships with national, regional and local funding sources. Mr. Noeldechen has more than 29 years of commercial real estate finance, asset management, acquisitions, restructurings/workouts and lending experience on both the principal and advisory side. He has underwritten loans and performed lender due diligence in excess of $175 billion over the past decade for major money center banks, investment banks, CMBS lenders and balance sheet lenders. During this period, he has also performed due diligence in excess of over $20 billion for B Piece buyers of CMBS loans. He has raised capital for a variety of real estate transactions and has industry specific experience in understanding credit and related issues impacting loans and structures. Prior to joining MMCC, Mr. Noeldechen was Managing Member of Azimuth Advisors LLC of Southport CT. specializing in lender credit & underwriting services as well as a raising debt for clients. He was also a Principal at Ernst & Young LLP in the Transaction Real Estate Advisory Services group specializing in lender due diligence and underwriting. He began his career at E.F. Hutton/ Shearson Lehman Hutton in the Direct Investment Real Estate Limited Partnership group in 1987. Mr. Noeldechen is an Adjunct Faculty member at The Schack Institute of Real Estate at the NYU School of Professional Studies and has most recently taught, Private Equity & Institutional Real Estate Finance. Mr. Noeldechen is a 1991 graduate of New York University where he earned a Master of Science in Real Estate Development & Investment with a double major in Valuation, 1991. He earned his undergraduate degree at St. John's University with a Bachelor of Science in Finance, 1987.
