Robert Hodge joined the South Bay & Long Beach office of Marcus & Millichap Capital Corporation (MMCC) in 2008. As First Vice President Capital Markets of Marcus & Millichap, Mr. Hodge is responsible for securing commercial debt and equity financing for an array of property types including multifamily, retail, office, industrial, senior housing, student housing, affordable housing, manufactured housing communities, single tenant net leased, mixed-use, special-use and owner-occupied properties.

He is well connected with national and regional funding sources including, but not limited to, agency lenders (e.g. Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, HUD/FHA), commercial banks, CMBS lenders, life insurance companies, private and public funds, bridge and hard money lenders. Mr. Hodge has more than 16 years of experience in commercial real estate finance, and has helped place more than $1 billion in debt transactions.

During his career with MMCC, Mr. Hodge has received the firm's National Achievement Award in 2018, 2019 and 2020 and Sales Recognition Award in 2013, 2014, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019 and 2020. He is a member of the firm's SIA and Seven-Figure Club. He was promoted to Director in 2012 and to Senior Director in 2015. He is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers, Mortgage Bankers Association and National Association of Industrial & Office Properties. He is a Capital Markets Advisor for the following Marcus & Millichap Specialty Groups: National Retail Group, Net Leased Properties Group and National Multi Housing Group.

Prior to joining MMCC, Hodge help start a Commercial Finance company based in Los Angeles. He served as the firm's Managing Director where he was responsible for debt placement for multifamily, retail, office and industrial properties.
