Bio

Robert Flippin is an Executive Vice President in CBRE's Brokerage Group located in the New York City office. Mr. Flippin's primary focus is on tenant representation in the New York Tri-State region, but includes supporting the needs of his clients on a national and global basis. 

Throughout his 30-year career, Mr. Flippin has been actively involved in several of the largest and most noteworthy transactions in the metropolitan area.  Most recently, he represented the law firm Mayer Brown in its relocation from 1675 Broadway to 190,000 square feet at 1221 Avenue of the Americas.  He also represented the law firm of Weil Gotshal in its renewal of 388,000 square feet at 767 Fifth Avenue (September 2014), as well as several other locations around the country and internationally.

Mr. Flippin also represented major Japanese Bank, Mizuho Corporate Bank, in its 170,000 square foot renewal at 1251 Avenue of the Americas, and recently negotiated their expansion for an additional 40,000 square feet in the building.

In the Downtown market, Mr. Flippin recently assisted the New York State Banking Department in leasing 240,000 square feet at One State Street Plaza, and has also represented Cadwalder Wickersham & Tart, Nomura Securities, Atlantic Mutual, Weiss Peck & Greer (and others) on numerous projects.

Prior to joining CBRE, Mr. Flippin was an International Director with Jones Lang LaSalle Americas.
