In his 32nd year with CBRE, Rob Faktorow is a unique real estate practitioner with a highly successful multi-disciplined business. With a broad range of expertise in the Tenant Advisory, Capital Markets, Investor Services, and Data Center disciplines. Rob brings an inimitable perspective in advising clients on complex real estate decisions. This far-reaching expertise of multiple disciplines has significant implications for the economic structure of his client's transactions. This diversity of expertise and knowledge has earned Mr. Faktorow the reputation as one of the foremost real estate experts in the United States. An elite professional and one of CBRE's most sophisticated strategist and advisor, he has completed over 38 million square feet of transactions, over 150 MW of data center leases, and sold over 250 buildings.


Working with wide range of industries including government contracting, media, technology, consulting and business services, aerospace, banking and financial services, telecommunications GSE's, and legal, Rob has crafted unique outcomes for the firm's clients by sharing trends and ideas across the spectrum of commerce.


Focusing on the Washington DC region, Rob has lead and supported many of the most significant projects in the metropolitan area. Headquarters assignments and strategic planning have included amongst others: 1.4 million square foot AoL Campus, 1 million square foot Intelsat headquarters, 787,000 square foot Gannett headquarters complex, two separate headquarters assignments for Sallie Mae totaling 700,000 square feet, and Orbital Sciences 330,000 square foot global headquarters.


Rob has completed numerous projects recognized for their positive impact on economic growth in the Washington DC area including, the United Airlines Dulles area hub, Oracle's regional headquarters relocation, a confidential data center expansion in Northern Virginia, and Yelp's recent commitment to a new office in downtown Washington DC.
