Biography
Robert Alinger joined the Colliers International | Houston in May 2019 as senior vice president. He focuses on project leasing, tenant and buyer representation, investment sales, site acquisition and disposition, and build-to-suit analysis. Robert has achieved the Society of Industrial and Office Realtors (SIOR) designation, the Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) designation, and the LEED Accredited Professional (LEED AP) designation. Robert is also a member of the Houston Association of Realtors, and serves on the Paint Horse Committee of the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo. Robert volunteers his time at the Houston Food Bank and assists in building homes for Habitat for Humanity.Since 2016, Robert represented National Property Holdings, a Houston based Industrial Development Firm, in the acquisition of 16 tracts of land, totaling more than 745 acres. He facilitated the development of these properties, and the resulting business parks will add an additional 5,200,000 SF of Class A, industrial and distribution space to their existing portfolio of 3,700,000 SF. During the same 2 year period he completed in excess of 1,400,000 SF of leases which has brought their portfolio to 98% occupancy.Robert is a native Texan and was born in Houston. He graduated from the University of Houston with a Bachelors of Science in Construction Management Technology. Robert is a member of the University of Houston Alumni Association and the Sigma Phi Epsilon Fraternity Alumni Association. Robert, his wife Patrice and children, Nolan and Reese, live in the Memorial area.
