Rob Starrett serves as a Managing Director out of the Berkadia Cleveland, Ohio office. He has a wide range of experience in a variety of asset types including institutional Class A new construction, value-add, and affordable housing, both on the brokerage and principal side of the business.

Prior to joining Berkadia, Rob helped found and lead BWE Investment Sales, an affiliate of BWE, a top 10 mortgage broker nationally. His past brokerage experience also includes overseeing the multifamily division nationally for Matthews Real Estate. On the principal side, Rob was Director of Transactions and Finance for Mid-America Management and spent time early in his career working for the NRP Group, one of the nation’s premier multifamily real estate companies.

Rob is a graduate of the University of Dayton with degrees in Finance and Entrepreneurship. He also is a Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM), licensed Broker in Ohio, and former Housing Credit Certified Professional (HCCP). Born and raised in Cleveland, OH, Rob is a lifelong Cleveland resident, an avid Cleveland sports fan and enjoys playing golf and traveling.
