Rob’s time and talents are dedicated to cultivating and enhancing investor and community stakeholder relationships, securing financing, and deal sourcing. Rob acts as the company’s key representative for investor relationships and works tirelessly to cultivate successful long-term partnerships built on financial alignment and a winning track record.
In his heart, Rob is a numbers guy, known for his diligence and keen analysis. Before Cielo, Rob built and managed a commercial real estate loan portfolio as a commercial banker and served as a VP in the Fixed Income Trading group for Sandler O’Neill + Partners. There, he traded municipal debt, agency debentures, and collateralized mortgage obligations.
Rob found his way from South Texas to Austin, where he earned his BA in Economics from the University of Texas. He serves on the Advisory Board for Urban Land Institute, the Advisory Council for McCombs Real Estate Center, the Board of Directors for Hill Country Conservancy, the Seton Fifty, and the Dell Children’s Trust. Rob is also a member of YPO.
