R.J. Richter

R.J. Richter is a managing director at PGIM Real Estate and a member of the U.S. debt investment team. Based in New York, R.J. is responsible for managing originations and for transactions oversight for U.S. core plus and high yield debt investment funds and vehicles for institutional investors. Previously, R.J. was with TPG Capital where he was a principal and senior originator for TPG Real Estate Finance Trust a $1.2 billion commercial mortgage REIT that went public on the NYSE in the summer of 2017. Prior to TPG, R.J. was a principal and senior originator with Latitude Management Real Estate Investors (LMREI), an institutional real estate investment management firm with a focus on commingled high yield debt funds and multifamily equity investments. Previously, he was a vice president with Heitman, a global real estate investment management firm, where he was responsible for the origination and asset management of structured finance investments for institutional clients. R.J. has a bachelor's degree in economics and philosophy from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and is an active member of the Wisconsin Real Estate Alumni Association (WREAA). He is also a member of the Mortgage Bankers Association (MBA).
