Rick Puttkammer

Rick provides 30+ years of experience as an owner, developer, manager, broker, and advisor focusing on retail properties. His understanding of shopping center operations and the dynamics of the retailing industry is complemented by his market knowledge and networking ability. Rick's access to current capital markets pricing and terms provides that the proper underwriting parameters will be applied to ensure a beneficial process for the client. Based in the San Diego office, Rick currently specializes in the acquisitions and dispositions of net-leased investments and shopping centers within the western US. From 2014 to 2016, Rick was the Western Regional Director of the National Retail Group at Marcus & Millichap. He was responsible for education, mentoring and training the retail agents in twenty offices and helped produce 22% YOY revenue growth in 2016. Rick is a CCIM, local chapter board member. Has been an ICSC member for 30+ Years and was previously associated with The Retail Brokers Network, as a member of National Investment Sales Group and Big Box Panel. Rick has also been a speaker/Lecturer for ICSC- Local Panel, CCIM- local panel, Appraisal Institute- San Diego Chapter and assistant teacher at University of San Diego- Master of Real Estate Program.
