Ric Shwisberg

Ric is a Principal and the Chief Operating Officer/General Counsel of ReyLenn. Prior to the formation of ReyLenn, Ric served as Senior Vice President/General Counsel-West Coast for The Morgan Group, Inc. (“MGI”). In his current role, Ric’s primary responsibilities include assistance with the pre-development and development phases of all projects, as well as with the acquisition, entitlement, joint-venture/equity structuring, financing, construction, asset management and disposition process for all ReyLenn projects. Prior to joining MGI, for over 17 years, Ric was a member and partner of the San Diego law firm of Procopio, Cory, Hargreaves & Savitch LLP. As the former leader of the firm’s real estate team his practice encompassed all aspects of commercial real estate development and real estate finance. Ric received his undergraduate degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting from Boston University. Ric is a 1981 graduate of the University of San Diego School of Law and was admitted to the State Bar of California in 1981. In 2012, Ric was honored as “Father of the Year” by the San Diego Council of the American Diabetes Association.
