Renny's breadth of real estate experience allows him to excel at articulating concepts and educating clients, so they can make empowered and informed business decisions. His roots are in distressed investing, purchasing over $3 billion of non- and sub-performing loans in the real estate investment banking group at Bankers Trust (now Deutsche Bank) in the early 1990s. He was a principal at Apollo Real Estate Advisors, structuring equity investments with joint venture partners and was also a key member of the team that led a $1 billion preferred equity recapitalization of Wyndham International. During the latest recession, Renny began focusing exclusively on the hospitality industry and has been praised by clients and industry colleagues as delivering a truly unique level of service. He graduated from the Haas Undergraduate School of Business at the University of California at Berkeley with emphases in Real Estate and Finance. Renny lives in Tampa-St. Pete with his wife of 13 years, 10 year old son, 4 year old daughter, 6 year old Great Dane and 11 year old Maltese, where they are all trying to get on Tampa Bay Buccaneers bandwagon.
