Bio

Quincy Allen is Co-Founder and Managing Partner of Arc Capital Partners. Along with Neville Rhone, he is responsible for overall firm strategy, investments, asset management, financing and dispositions.

 

Mr. Allen is a 27-year veteran of finance, real estate development and investing with over $8 billion of transaction experience. Prior to forming Arc, Mr. Allen was a Managing Director and investment committee member of Canyon Partners Real Estate (“Canyon”). At Canyon, Mr. Allen led the acquisitions team for the Canyon-Johnson Urban Funds, a partnership between Canyon and Earvin “Magic” Johnson, and invested in over $3 billion of real estate. Prior to joining Canyon, Mr. Allen was an executive with Lazard Frères (“Lazard”) focused on workouts and real estate portfolio management. Prior to joining Lazard, Mr. Allen was a Vice President with Archstone Communities (“Archstone”), a leading national multifamily REIT focused on apartments in urban locations. Prior to Archstone, he was an executive early in his career with Security Capital Group, the parent company of Archstone.

 

Mr. Allen is a Director of Apartment Investment and Management Company (NYSE: AIV) (“Aimco”), a multifamily focused REIT targeting property development and redevelopment. Mr. Allen also serves on the board of the Mike Ilitch School of Business (Wayne State University) and Think Together, a non-profit leader in providing after-school programs in underserved neighborhoods. Mr. Allen is also an active member of Urban Land Institute, Pension Real Estate Association, the National Multi Housing Council and Central City Association.

 

Mr. Allen graduated from Wayne State University (B.S. Finance Major, Summa Cum Laude) and holds and MBA from Harvard Business School.
