Bio
Peter C. Crosswell is a Vice President in the South Central Region of CBRE. He has more than 11 years of professional experience in the preparation and review of real estate appraisals, feasibility studies, rent analyses and market studies of commercial and residential properties.
In recent years, Mr. Crosswell has been designated as the top performing appraiser from a quality and research standpoint for Valuation and Advisory Services in CBRE's Austin and Houston regions. His appraisal and consulting assignments have involved work on both improved and unimproved real property throughout the south central region of the United States.
Since 2009, Mr. Crosswell has specialized in the valuation of retail properties and has worked successfully with some of CBRE's most prestigious clients. He serves as the Austin retail expert and has appraised over 200 net leased single tenant properties (drug stores, supermarkets and big box discount retailers). He has appraised all types of retail centers, including "Town Center" developments, lifestyle centers, power centers, neighborhood and community centers, strip centers and regional malls. Mr. Crosswell's primary experience encompasses a variety of property types including retail, office, industrial, multifamily, medical office, restaurant, automobile dealership facilities, master-planned communities, ranches and raw land. Assignments have also included consulting and valuation in condemnation cases of properties along major thoroughfares, as well as cases involving takings for pipeline easements. Mr. Crosswell continues to appraise various property types; however, he currently specializes in retail properties.
He has worked successfully with clients throughout the United States and appraised property in more than 15 states, but his current primary geographical experience is in Texas. Prior to joining CBRE in 2006, Mr. Crosswell was an Associate Real Estate Appraiser with Lewis Realty Advisors in Houston, Texas.
