Bio
Mr. Vangrieken serves as director of the European Client Group. He is responsible for co-managing European client relationships and for marketing of various GenCap products. Since he joined GenCap, Mr. Vangrieken has also served as Senior Asset Manager and Director of Houston Operations. He has worked in the real estate industry both in Europe and the United States since 1982. Mr. Vangrieken immigrated to the United States in 1992 to direct the United States office of ROGIA, a Belgian real estate asset management company that controlled a 2.5 million square foot United States portfolio of office assets. Over his career, Mr. Vangrieken has gained extensive experience in management, leasing, and development of various commercial real estate types in the United States and in Europe. Mr. Vangrieken is fluent in English, French, and Dutch and holds a degree as a real estate surveyor and appraiser in Belgium. He is a member of the Association of Foreign Investors in Real Estate.
