Bio
Paul Jaffe’s real estate career began at Anchin, Block & Anchin, auditing private real estate companies and their underlying assets to prepare annual financial, current value, and operating escalation statements. He later served in a variety of positions in both advisory and private equity—focusing on equity investment management—as well as debt and mezzanine financing and investment sales, with companies including Townhouse Partners, Berkshire and Ackman-Ziff. At Berkshire, Mr. Jaffe worked on acquisitions and portfolio management for a private equity fund vehicle focused on opportunistic real estate investment through entity-level and GP equity commitments to real estate operating companies exhibiting specialized asset class and market expertise. Mr. Jaffe received his Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the Robert H. Smith School of Business at the University of Maryland and developed his real estate finance knowledge through coursework at NYU’s Schack Institute of Real Estate. Additionally, he is a licensed real estate salesperson in the state of New York. As a long-time lacrosse fan and current member of Harlem Lacrosse, Mr. Jaffe helps coach and tutor high school students at the Frederick Douglass Academy in Upper Manhattan.
