One of my favorite quotes is by Aristotle, "The whole is greater than the sum of the parts". My entire life has been team-oriented so I've been fortunate to experience the good and bad, highs and lows, and strengths and weaknesses of teams in different capacities. I believe that high-performing teams build great cultures centered upon trust. I have led teams and been a supporting teammate so I understand that high-functioning teams accomplish more than any one person. What energizes me most is being part of a team with high personal and team expectations. Believing that you win as a team, you lose as a team. I operate well in ambiguity and have learned to manage heavy workloads by navigating two bank mergers.
In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my wife and two boys, relaxing on Michigan beaches, reading, and watching baseball or hockey.
