Norm Sangalang is a senior member of the CBRE Manufactured Housing & RV Resorts (MHRV) Specialty Practice. Based out of San Diego and partnering with Crawford Follett (San Francisco), their partnership is an integral team within CBRE's National MHRV Specialty Practice, and has closed over 300 sales transactions personally and on a truly national scale from California to New York and throughout the Midwest. Norm, Crawford and their strategic local market partners across the nation comprise a fully integrated team of seasoned park specialists with over 70 years of direct park sales experience strategically based throughout the nation since the 1990's.
Norm started his career on the investor side in the 1990's for a private office opportunistic fund and gained a diverse perspective of the commercial real estate world working at Colliers, Comps Inc. (Costar) and Business Real Estate Brokerage (now Cushman & Wakefield). Seeing the advantages of the park industry he shifted focus away from NNN and other commercial sales in 1998 to focus exclusively in the MHRV sector, which Norm coined the term for in 1999. This led directly to the co-founding of one of the most successful and respected independent park brokerage firms in the Western United States prior to joining CBRE.
His intimate understanding of the segment is further enhanced by both owning and managing mobile home parks. Norm is frequently on expert panels pertaining to mobile home park and RV park sales and financing at mobile home and RV park related trade shows, conventions and other commercial real estate related venues.
