Bio

As vice president of investments and business development, Nordee is responsible for expanding KSL Resorts’ growing boutique resort platform, targeting leisure-based, boutique hotels in secondary and tertiary destination markets nationwide. With over 15 years of real estate experience, Nordee is adept at sourcing and securing new investment opportunities.

After starting his professional career in commercial real estate, he decidedly switched gears to hotels and has never looked back. A “converted hotel guy,” Nordee brings a diverse breadth of real estate experience having worked for global institutional companies as well as a smaller, localized family business.

Nordee’s “can do” attitude and enthusiastic approach has served him well throughout his career. Prior to joining KSL Resorts, Nordee served in various real estate advisory and investment roles at HVS and JLL and most recently with Pacifica Hotels / Invest West Financial Corporation where he led new acquisitions and investment strategy.

His academic credentials are equally impressive. After earning a master’s degree with distinction in real estate finance and investments from NYU, he achieved a certificate in hotel real estate investments and asset management from Cornell University. He holds a bachelor’s degree from University of California, Irvine.

Beyond the office Nordee is a novice DIYer and an avid traveler who enjoys exploring new places, new foods and craft beers. Nordee also enjoys being active, working out and hitting the trails with his wife, daughter and dogs.
